before your stay

  • See below for items we already have at the cabin

  • There is a code to open the front door. We will give you the code before your stay.

  • There will be an Opening and Closing Checklist to follow once you get to the cabin and are ready to leave. It is next to the front door. 

  • If you will not have time to wash the cabin sheets/towels, please bring your own. If you will be using cabin sheets, it is good practice if you can wash the cabin sheets the day before you leave and put down your own sheets over the clean sheets on your last night).. Please do not leave dirty/wet sheets &  towels at the cabin.

  • The cabin has 1 queen size bed, 3 full size beds and 4 sets of twin bunk beds.

    • Bedroom 1 - 1 full size bed

    • Bedroom 2 - 1 full size bed and one bunk bed 

    • Bedroom 3 - 1 queen size bed 

    • Bedroom 4 - 3 sets of bunk beds + 1 full size bed

  • You will need to bring your own toiletries and shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. although there are some large containers of shampoo, conditioner and body wash at the cabin as well.

  • Be aware that you may not have cell service at the cabin. Reception is better down by the bridge.

  • Griddle (built into the stove) for pancakes, french toast - don’t use for bacon because it doesn’t have a drip pan

  • Pots and pans, frying pans, colander

  • Pot holders, oven mitts

  • Electric mixer

  • Dish towels and dish rags

  • After bridge, turn right on US-6 E and travel 15 min. WIll be on your left when you get 

  • into town of Wellsboro.

 

Weis Market (20 miles) (nicest)

11798 US-6 Wellsboro

  • After bridge, turn right on US-6 E, travel 15 mi. In Wellsboro, turn left to stay on US-6 E, travel 1.7 mi and Weis is on the right.

 

Shop ‘n Save (11 mi)

28 West St Galeton

  • After bridge, turn left on US-6 W, travel 11 mi and turn left onto West St. This will be after you see the town of Galeton.
